About Katie Dear

Katie Dear

I work as a hair loss consultant. As well as Hair Loss people may need help with finding a solution for thinning or fine hair or even just want a temporary change. Maybe you are going away and want to know your hair will always look good no matter what. For ease a wig or hair piece might just be the right thing for you.

My experience is in face to face consultations where I would source both fibre wigs, real hair wigs or hair enhancers, whichever suited their needs. I also carried out the application of non surgical hair replacement systems for both men and woman. These are bespoke systems that duplicate the shape of the head and scalp and can be a life style changer. Whichever system people choose it is always a joy to be a part of the transformation in finding a part of themselves again. If you are dealing with hair loss it can be traumatic, this, I know, should never be underestimated.

I wanted to reach out to more people, combining a personal and compassionate service and still being able to offer solutions. So here it is, katiedear.co.uk

I worked in the Theatre for 13 years working backstage as a Wig Assistant and then on to Head of Wigs.

I worked in London’s West End but also went out on U.K. Tours.

I trained at The National Theatre and then finished my London work 13 years later at Phantom of the Opera’s 25th Anniversary at The Royal Albert Hall as Head of Wigs.

I went on to do work in Film and then had a Wedding hair and makeup business which worked around starting a family.

All of this previous experience has led me here today.

Here to help via email but also video consultation.  I will offer guidance and solutions either referring to a specialist if needed for a diagnosis or help in finding the right hair pieces for you, whatever your hair situation. If you would like this service please get in touch.

I would always recommend you see a specialist if you are noticing hair loss before venturing on your journey into the wig world.

Always remember no question is not worth asking. It might be the first time you are looking into helping yourself, so don’t feel you can’t ask something and I will guide you accordingly.

If you choose to have a video consultation, you are in a safe and relaxed place and greeted with no judgement.
